Mount Evans
Mount Evans is an awe-inspiring mountain that stands tall at an elevation of 14,000 feet. It is not only the highest peak in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains but also one of the most iconic landmarks in Colorado. Its majestic presence dominates the skyline, and it is home to a diverse range of wildlife that makes it an ecological treasure trove.
As we make our way to Mount Evans, we’ll have the chance to witness the beauty and diversity of the landscape. We’ll pass through evergreen forests, cross mountain streams and see alpine meadows carpeted with wildflowers. The views of the surrounding mountains and valleys are truly breathtaking, and there will be plenty of opportunities to capture them on camera.
The biggest attractions of Mount Evans is the abundance of wildlife that calls it home. The mountain goats, which are the main focus of this tour, are just one of the many species that can be found here. The mountain goats are an especially unique sight to see and can often be seen scaling steep cliffs with incredible ease. These goats are habituated to human presence, making it easier to get up close and personal for that perfect shot.
But the mountain goats are not the only wildlife that we’ll encounter on this tour. Big horn sheep, elk, marmots, and birds of prey are just a few of the other species that can be found in the area.
Back Country
During our time in Summit County our expert guides will lead us on an intense off-road journey, navigating steep inclines, rocky terrain, and narrow switchbacks that wind their way up the mountainside. The adrenaline-pumping ride will be as thrilling as it is beautiful, with stunning vistas and panoramic views unfolding before us at every turn.

However, we must caution that this part of the tour is not for the faint of heart. The extreme nature of the off-roading means that those with weak stomachs or a fear of heights may not find this part of the tour enjoyable. Our experienced guides will ensure your safety at all times, but please be aware that the journey can be bumpy and jarring.
For those who are up to the challenge, the reward is well worth it. The remote locations of Radical Hill and Webster Pass are home to some of the most beautiful mountain goats in Colorado, and the chance to see these majestic creatures up close and in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable.
